Acceptable Use Policy

These rules apply to all ChikuNodes customers and ensure a safe, fair environment for everyone.

Prohibited Activities

DDoS & Cyber Attacks
Conducting, facilitating, or participating in DDoS attacks, port scanning without authorization, brute force attacks, or any unauthorized access attempts against third-party systems.
Illegal Content
Hosting, distributing, or transmitting any content that violates applicable laws including but not limited to CSAM, illegal weapons, stolen data, or pirated software.
Malware & Phishing
Hosting malware, ransomware, spyware, phishing pages, exploit kits, or any software designed to harm users or systems.
Cryptocurrency Mining
Unauthorized cryptocurrency mining operations on shared hosting resources. VPS customers may mine crypto with prior written approval only.
Spam & Mass Messaging
Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam), operating open mail relays, or running mass messaging campaigns without explicit recipient consent.
Resource Abuse
Consuming excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth beyond plan limits in ways that degrade performance for other customers on shared infrastructure.
Copyright Infringement
Hosting, distributing, or enabling access to copyrighted content without proper authorization from the rights holder.
Impersonation
Creating accounts or hosting content that impersonates other individuals, companies, or services with intent to deceive.

Permitted Activities

Minecraft game servers for personal or community use
Discord bots for community management and automation
Web applications and API services
Development and testing environments
Personal websites and portfolios
Educational projects and research
Open source software hosting
Business applications (subject to plan limits)

Enforcement

ChikuNodes reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including:

  • •Warning and request to remedy the violation
  • •Temporary service suspension pending investigation
  • •Immediate termination without refund for severe violations
  • •Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities
  • •Permanent account ban for repeat violations
